Squirrels abound in Stellenbosch. These feisty creatures are renowned for their speed, zigzag running style, agility, flexible ankle joints, and superb balance. They are bold, can be aggressive, but are hugely sociable. What better symbol for our Rugby Sevens elite athletes! The Xhosa name for squirrel is Unomatse.
